CST Arqami Service (خدمة أرقامي - هيئة الاتصالات)
Communications, Space & Technology CommissionVerify all active voice numbers, mobile data SIMs, and landlines issued across all Saudi telecom operators (STC, Mobily, Zain, Virgin, Lebara, Salam) under your personal ID.
Protecting your personal identity from unauthorized use is vital in Saudi Arabia. In some instances, unauthorized telecom agents or individuals fraudulently register prepaid or postpaid SIM cards under another person's residency permit without their knowledge. Because any financial arrears or unlawful communications tied to a SIM card remain legally linked to the Iqama holder, regularly checking your registered numbers is essential.
The Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) offers a unified, free verification service called Arqami (أرقامي) to protect consumer rights.
Step-by-Step Guide: How to Check Registered SIMs
- Access the official regulatory portal: CST.gov.sa.
- Under electronic services, navigate to Arqami Service (خدمة أرقامي).
- Select your identification type: Resident (مقيم).
- Enter your 10-digit Iqama Number.
- Enter your Date of Birth (select Gregorian and enter Year, Month, Day).
- Choose whether you currently hold a mobile number:
- If you enter an active mobile number: The system sends an SMS code, and the results screen displays the complete phone numbers registered under your ID.
- If you choose "No Mobile Number": The system indicates which telecom companies have active lines under your ID without showing the full numbers for privacy.
- Enter the visual captcha code and click Inquire.
What If You Find an Unauthorized SIM Card?
If you discover an unfamiliar number registered under your name:
- Step 1 (Contact the Operator): Immediately submit a formal complaint via the official mobile app or customer helpline of the respective network (STC: 900, Mobily: 1100, Zain: 959).
- Step 2 (Escalate to CST): If the telecom operator does not disconnect the unauthorized line within 5 business days, escalate the dispute directly to CST through the "Consumer Complaints" portal on cst.gov.sa with your initial complaint reference number. CST will mandate cancellation and investigate the issuing retail outlet.
