How to Book Saudi Driving School Appointment Online on Absher

For expatriate residents seeking to obtain a private driving license in Saudi Arabia for the first time, walk-in admissions at driving schools are strictly disallowed. All applicants must book an initial practical skill assessment or theoretical training appointment through the unified Absher platform.

Step-by-Step Guide: Booking Your Driving School Slot

1. Log in to your account at Absher.sa (Individuals).
2. From the navigation dashboard, go to My Services (خدماتي) > Appointments (المواعيد).
3. Select Traffic (المرور).
4. Click on Book New Appointment (حجز موعد جديد).
5. Review the service list and select:
   • Driving Training - For Men / Women (التدريب في مدارس تعليم القيادة): For regular instruction courses.
   • Driving Skill Assessment (تقييم مهارات القيادة): For drivers who already know how to drive and want to qualify for the shortened training program.
6. Choose your preferred Region (e.g., Riyadh, Makkah, Eastern Province).
7. Select the nearest accredited driving school branch (such as Dallah Driving Academy or Al-Khabeer Driving School).
8. Choose an available date and morning or evening time slot.
9. Confirm the booking and print or save the appointment ticket with its barcode to show security at the school entrance.

Training Hours Based on Skill Assessment

• Experienced Drivers: If you hold an existing valid foreign driver's license or demonstrate high proficiency during the initial evaluation, you may only be required to complete 6 hours of brief training.
• Beginners: Applicants with no previous driving experience are required to complete the comprehensive 30-hour course (theory lectures, computer exam, simulator, and yard training).
